Mayor Bosak asked Bob Sweeney if he received any applications for camera operator. He did, but some are too young and kids are too involved with other activities where they are not reliable.

Kindt Street, can gentlemen/technical crew do a better job of cleaning up after themselves. Plant grass, replacing dirt, etc.

Should be able to start on-line to find this information. If not, call Charter and they will get you started.
Interrupted Service – What Causes This?
Multiple sets, “maintenance window”, etc, call Charter and they will help you out. Sometimes checking the fitting will fix this issue.
Voice Synchronizations
Automatic audio levelers sometimes falls behind.

Purchase New Equipment: Panasonic Camera Model #AGHMC 40
Two cameras are the same. One has poor color. $1,695.00 (hi-def) does not include memory card. Additional $50.00 for a 16 g memory card. Sweeney/Worthen to buy these items not to exceed $1,800 using funds from the Cable TV franchise fees. Keep old camera as a backup.
Review Budget:
Lower rates; bundle services. One bill vs. different for each service.
Green Screen: Box related issue.
Black Screen: Several issue possibilities.
Internet Speeds: Several options. Bill reflects speed different downloads need different speeds.

Disposal of old VHS tapes and DVD’s: Keep committee meetings for one year, Common Council for 5 years per Mayor Bosak and keep the specials and games.
Old Business: Barb distributed budget comparison for the first six month. Reviewed budget numbers. The library thanks the city for the donation that was received.
New Business: August 15th meeting, two charter employees will be present to answer questions regarding services including: internet, phone and cable services.

Is this something we will be doing? Bob asked at the conference and other communities are already doing it all. Not a real call for it in Juneau, maybe in the future, but not at this time. Remove item from the agenda.

No mention of this again from community member. Leave this venue open for future possibilities. Bob will approach community member and ask if he is still interested.
Charter Fee Increases:
