2.08.020 Order of business.

A. At each regular meeting of the common council the order of business shall be as follows:
1. Call to order by presiding officer;
2. Roll call;
3. Reading, correction and approval of minutes of previous meetings;
4. Reading, correction and approval of minutes of intervening meetings;
5. Action on claims presented;
6. Public appearances;
7. Communications;
8. Reports of committees and officials;
9. Unfinished business from previous meeting;
10. New business;
11. Adjournment.
B. Public Appearances. In accordance with Section 2.08.020A6 of this chapter the council shall recognize any person wishing to make a public appearance before the council. In all cases the total amount of time allotted for all public appearances at any meeting of council shall not exceed fifteen (15) minutes in length unless the length of time for the public appearance is extended by a vote of a majority of the members of the council present. No person other than a member or public official designated to report to the council shall address the council other than in the public appearance portion of the meeting except by a vote of a
