Chapter 2.12 MUNICIPAL OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES
2.12.010 City clerk-treasurer.
The offices of city clerk and city treasurer shall be
combined as a full time office. The holder of such office shall be known as the
city clerk-treasurer and shall perform the duties required of these offices as
provided by law and such other duties as are requested to be executed by him by
the common council from time to time. The city clerk-treasurer shall be
appointed by the mayor and confirmed by the affirmative vote of two-thirds of
the members of the common council, and shall hold office for an indefinite term,
subject to removal as provided in Section 17.12(1)(c) and (d), Wis. Stats.
