2.12.080 Election inspectors.

At the regular common council meeting in December of each even-numbered year, the mayor shall nominate persons to service as election inspectors. The number of election inspectors shall be determined as necessary by the city clerk to adequately staff each election, and to reduce the number of election inspectors to an odd number of not less than three at any given election held within the city of Juneau. The common council shall immediately approve or disapprove such nominations. If they disapprove any such nominee, the mayor shall immediately nominate another person. For a vacancy caused by sickness, or any other reason, the city clerk shall appoint a substitute, which shall be in effect for that day only. (Ord. 60-2002)
