Sewer Deduct Meters

 In an effort to help save money on your utility bill during the summer months the Juneau Utility Commission offers the use of a sewer deduct meter. The charge for this meter is $35.00 per month. This meter will save you the sewer charge of $4.86 per thousand on the water you use for various outside needs. This meter will only be beneficial if you think you will be using over 7,210 gallons of water. To request a sewer deduct meter call 920-386-4815.


0% Interest Loans

The City of Juneau has a Community Development Block Grant Housing Program which can help low to moderate income households with house repairs, such as a roof, windows, heating, plumbing and electrical. It is a 0% interest loan, which is not paid back until the home is sold, or is no longer your primary residence. For more information or to receive an application, please contact:

PROPERTY OWNERS

NOXIOUS WEED NOTICE

All property owners in the City of Juneau must destroy noxious weeds as per State Statute §69.96(2), and City of Juneau ordinance 15.12.030. The term "noxious weeds" includes the following: Canada Thistle, Leafy Spurge and Field Bindweed (Creeping Jenny) and grass or other growth exceeding 8" in height.

Any citizen that would like to make a complaint must contact the City of Juneau Weed Commissioner, Edward Oestreich (Juneau Police Department at 386-4810 between 8:00 - 4:30 PM Monday-Friday.
