Tips
When winter storms approach, residents should be prepared. If possible you should keep on hand food and other supplies, so that you and your family will safely get through a winter snow or ice storm.
If traveling, carry boots, snow pants, and a warm coat in your vehicle, along with a shovel and battery jumper cables. Check you cars fluid levels before traveling on a long trip. Drivers should also be alert for changing driving conditions and should allow for extra driving time when traveling.
