All dogs and cats are required to be licensed in the City of Juneau. To obtain a license(s), please complete the information at city hall with the license fee. State Law requires proof of an updated rabies shot before a pet license can be issued. Deadline for registration is March 31. After that date, there will be a $25.00 penalty PER unregistered pet. Ordinance 6.04.190 restricts the total number of pets to max. of 4.
** Pet Fancier License is $20.00. Any combination of dogs/cats more than two (2), plus individual license fee per pet.
** Kennel License is $36.50. Any combination of more than four (4) pets plus $4.00 for each dog in excess of twelve. Kennel license is for pets that you do NOT own.
