Standing Committees of the Council

Finance Committee - The committee oversees and has direct jurisdiction over investments, garbage collection, budget development and review, taxation, sale and purchase of property, insurance, payment of bills, including unbudgeted items, policy development and code amendments, and other related items.  Chapter 2.08.040.

Meets – First Tuesday of every month at 6:30pm at City Hall 405 Jewel Street (Subject to change or cancelation)

Personnel Committee - The committee oversees and has direct jurisdiction over interviews, negotiating salaries, recommend promotions and demotions, evaluation, work agreement, employee benefits, policy development, code amendments and other related items.   Chapter 2.08.040
